WFM Cheradee Camacho needs a win to earn the WIM title while Jose needs to score 2/3 in 9 rounds to secure for herself the WFM title.
Camacho already has two 20-game WIM norms that she got from 2008 Olympiad and 2009 Asian Intercontinental Subic. More than enough to be a WIM, just need to raise her rating to 2200 mark.
opppps i stand corrected, yup cheradee have already earned the required norms for the WIM title and just needed to reach 2200 for the full title.
Cheradee Camacho earned the title (WIM) as early as round 5 with a win against IM Carolina of Argentina. By then she already earned enough elo points to surpass the 2200 mark, the only remaining barrier towards her WIM title. Congrats WIM Camacho for becoming the fourth WIM of the Philippines. more power
