The shutout loss against Vietnam in the previous round never dented on the brave spirit of the RP Women's Team. The wound sustained from the hands of the Viets just made our Pinays braver to fashion out a 3.5-0.5 victory over Team Bolivia.
Fired up by an early 16-mover win by the fearless Rulp Ylem Jose in Board 3, Catherine Pereña and Jedara Docena added two more victories while Shercila Cua held her Bolivian opponent to a draw with Black.
The irrepressible courage that has been displayed by our heroic Pinays since Round 1 already made our women's team a real winner in our hearts.
