GM Torre visits Tuguegarao

GM Eugene Torre is set to visit Tuguegarao today (September 8) to pay a courtesy call to all the supporters of the PACE Tuguegarao Open Chess Festival which will be held on October 9-10, 2010.

Members of the Cagayan Chess Development Club, Compuserve Team and a number of students expect Torre's arrival today.

Engr. Abe Cuaresma, Compuserve Land Surveying and Development (Compuserve) President, the organizer of the event, invited Torre to be with Northern Luzon woodpushers. Torre is scheduled to meet with the officials of the provincial government as well as officials from the Department of Education and Department of Tourism at Paseo Reale Mall.

All chess masters, rated and unrated players are invited to join the PACE Tuguegarao Open Chess Festival which is being organized by the Philippine Academy for Chess Excellence PACE and Compuserve.
