NM/IA Carag is Coach of the Year

Congratulations to NM/IA Erwin Carag, head chess coach of La Salle Green Hills (LSGH), for bagging the Coach of the Year Award after the conclusion of team chess championships in the 86th season of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).

NM Carag ably led the LSGH Juniors Team to emerge on top of the juniors team chess champioships.

NM Carag approached me during the staging last Sunday of the Barangay Wesley Team Try-Out at Robinsons Manila where he handed me the complete PGNs of the 86th NCAA games.

The PGNs served as a gift - a thick compilation of printed games played during the 86th NCAA season - for Barangay Wesley. The cover page of the document says: "To Barangay Wesley. Win in Chess. Win in Life."

I'll feature here some of those PGNs which can bring excitement and admiration.
