26TH edition of 1ST SATURDAY MAGNOLIA NON-MASTER (RRCIS) CHESS TOURNAMENT

Now is the year of the TIGER and it is time for more battles in Chess when it kick-off the 26TH edition of 1ST SATURDAY MAGNOLIA NON-MASTER (RRCIS) CHESS TOURNAMENT (1950 Below Club Rapid Rating) on March 6, 2010 10:00am at 4th Floor Perez Building, Doña Soledad cor. Australia Sts, Better Living, Parañaque City. Sponsors are Mayor Florencio Bernabe, Vice Mayor Gus Tambunting, Barangay Don Bosco Chairman Jun Virata, Magnolia Health Tea Drinks and Julie’s Bakeshop.

At stake is a guaranteed prizes for the Champion P 3,000, 2nd place 2,000, 3rd place 1,000 with elegant trophies. Top category of Senior, Kiddy, Lady will get P 500 each and a gift pack of Magnolia products. All participants will also enjoy the application of RRCIS-Round by Round Cash Incentive Scheme 10-5. Tournament format shall be played in Seven(7) Rounds Swiss System and the rate of play will be Twenty Five(25) minutes per player to finish the game. Event is organized by Barangay Don Bosco Chess Club (BDBCC) headed by Adviser Dr. Bong Perez.

The tournament will be supervised by Chief Arbiter Bobot Rosanto Torres of the National Association of Philippine Chess Arbiters (NAPCA). Registration Standard fee is Php 250 and Kiddies is only Php 150.00.
