Six-year old Stephen Rome Pangilinan (in photo below) is one of the three young Filipino chess players who will compete in the 2009 Las Vegas International Chess Festival from June 4 to 7 in Nevada, USA.
At six, Pangilinan is the youngest ever Filipino chess player who made it to the Checkmate team.
The other two players are Carmela Galve,14, and Gino Divino Cabual, 12.
