The Meralco chess club is planning a NM Cabrido Memorial Cup tentatively on Oct17 in Meralco, Ortigas.
NM Cabrido was a former employee of Meralco and was one of the pillars of its chess history.
Mr. Rolly Cruz, Meralco Chess Club president, is inviting the Top 10 kiddies in the recently held PSC event. The Top 10 kiddies in the just concluded 1st MMLDC are also invited. As invitees, their registration is free.
Format: 5 rounds, Swiss, 30-30 with knock out rounds.
Prizes: champ - 1,000, 2nd placer - 500, 3rd & 4th - 200 each.
