Belena Non-Master Rapid Chess in Nueva Ecija

THE first Alex S. Belena Non-Master Rapid Chess Tournament will reel off on October 3, 9 am at the PAG-ASA Sports Complex in San Jose City, Nueva Ecija.

Organized by San Jose City Chess Club and backed up by Office of the City Mayor and Eng'r. Larry Dumadag San Jose City Chess ClubThe seven (7) round Swiss-System, 25 minutes per player to finish the game is open to all untitled/non-master chess players nationwide, which is aims to discover future world class chess players.

The champion will receive P5,000 plus trophy, while the rest of the top five will receive P3,000, P2,000, P1,000 and P500, respectively. Sixth to 10th placers pocketed P300 each.

Category Prizes: Top kiddies: 1st - P 500 + trophy; 2nd - P300 + medal; 3rd - 200+ medal; Top San Jose City Players: 1st Place - P1,000 + Trophy, 2nd Place - P700 + Medal, 3rd Place - P500 + Medal, Top Lady - P 500 + Medal and Top Kiddie - P500 + Medal .

Registration Fee: P250 - regular entry fee, P200 - San Jose City residents and P100 - for Kiddies
