Tournament format : 7 rounds-Swiss
Participating Fee : P 500.00/EACH PARTICIPANT
Divisions : 2 Divisions – Elementary and High School

Eligibility

This tournament is open only to bonafide Elementary and High School students currently or recently enrolled in SY 2008-2009 in any public or private schools.

Students must only present 2008-2009 Student Identification Cards or Original Certification of the school registrar that the student is/was enrolled for SY 2008-2009.

Prizes

Top ten players in each division will be given a medal and cash prize and are as follows

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS

Champion Gold Medal P 10,000
1st Runner-Up Silver Medal P 6,000
2nd Runner-Up Bronze Medal P 4,000
3rd Runner-Up Bronze Medal P 3,000
4th Runner-Up Bronze Medal P 2,000
5th to 9th Place Bronze Medal P 1,000/EACH

TEAM AWARDS

Championship Gold trophy
1st Runner Up Silver trophy
2nd Runner Up Bronze trophy

Same rules will be applied as in the July PLSCA Rapid Chess Championship.
