Another spectacular chess event for the youth is the staging of 1ST ST. ANDREW YOUTH MINISTRY, COLUMBIAN SQUIRES & KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS COUNCIL 8573 AGE-GROUP CHESS TOURNAMENT on March 6, 2010 Saturday 9:00AM at the Knights of Columbus Hall Basement and/or Ground Floor Parish Center, St. Andrew Church, Bel-Air- Makati City. Tournament is sponsored by St. Andrew Youth Ministry and Knights of Columbus . Coordinated and officiated by Makati Chess Club and National Association of Philippine Chess Arbiters (NAPCA), respectively.

The event will be categorized in two division; 11 to 16 Years Old and 10 Years Old & Below. Prizes for each category are: Champion P 1,000, 2nd P 500, 3rd P 300, 4th P 200, 5th to 10th Placers with Trophies. The application of RRCIS 10-5 Round by Round Cash Incentive Scheme will be implemented. Tournament shall be played in Seven Rounds Swiss System with allotted time of 25 minutes per player to finish the game. Players must not exceed 1950 NCFP Rapid Rating. Registration Fee is P 100 only but FREE to all members of St. Andrew Youth Ministry, Columbian Squires and Knights of Columbus 8573 in Bela-Air, Makati City .
