10TH NAPCA TRAINERS AND COACHES SEMINAR SET FEB. 13 & 14 IN QC

Chessplayers who want to be oriented as teacher in chess are invited to participate in the “10th NAPCA TRAINER AND COACHES SEMINAR” to be held on February 13 &14, 2010 at the seminar room of GSN-ISEEC Corporate Office 92-A Prosperity West Center, West Ave., cor. Baler St., Quezon City. The seminar is organized by the National Association of Philippine Chess Arbiters (NAPCA) and the Youth Chess Charitable Foundation (YCCF) based in California , USA . The seminar conducted in previous location such as; (3) Manila 2006-2007, (1) Paranaque City 2008, (1) Baguio City 2008, (2) Makati 2008, (1) Pasig City 2009 and (1) Naga City 2009.

The program aims to comprehend the proper way of teaching chess to their students. Invitation is open to the representatives of Sports Department of Cities and Municipalities, Chess Clubs, Schools and any Organization.

Seminar facilitator is FIDE ARBITER & FIDE INSTRUCTOR LAWYER ROMMEL TACORDA with the special participation of DAVID HUFF, Founder of YCCF. Among the topics that will be learned are Chess History, Levels of Training, Terminologies, Principles of Opening Strategy, Checkmating patterns, Playing Strength Assessment, Tactics, and many others. Seminar fee is P 1,500.00 inclusive of meal and materials. Uniform is optional for only P 200.00
