25TH EDITION 1ST SATURDAY MAGNOLIA NON-MASTER (RRCIS) CHESS TOURNAMENT SET FEBRUARY 6

Now is the year of the TIGER and its the time for more battles in Chess when it kick-off the 24TH edition of 1ST SATURDAY MAGNOLIA NON-MASTER (RRCIS) CHESS TOURNAMENT (1950 Below Club Rapid Rating) on February 6, 2010 10:00am at 4th Floor Perez Building, Doña Soledad cor. Australia Sts, Better Living, Parañaque City. Sponsors are Mayor Florencio Bernabe, Vice Mayor Gus Tambunting, Barangay Don Bosco Chairman Jun Virata, Magnolia Health Tea Drinks and Julie’s Bakeshop.

Guaranteed prizes will be given away to the winners; Champion P 3,000, 2nd place 2,000, 3rd place 1,000 with elegant trophies. Top category of Senior, Kiddy, Lady will get P 500 each and a gift pack of Magnolia products. All participants will also enjoy the application of RRCIS-Round by Round Cash Incentive Scheme 10-5. Tournament format shall apply the Seven(7) Round Swiss System and the rate of play will be Twenty Five(25) minutes per player to finish the game. Event is organized by Barangay Don Bosco Chess Club (BDBCC) headed by Club President Roland Roselada and Adviser Dr. Bong Perez.

The tournament will be supervised by Chief Arbiter NA Boyet Tardecilla with Deputy Arbiters Rolando Liñan, Rolando Suarez , NM Ed Agagon, Cecil Padua, Einstein Padua, Bobot Rosanto Torres, Leo Zerrudo, Lorenzo Ropeta, Eli Carredo, Dennis Meñez, Dennis Lopez and Rene Domaycos who are members of the National Association of Philippine Chess Arbiters (NAPCA). Registration Standard fee is Php 250 and Kiddies is only Php 150.00.
