CHESS TEAM TOURNAMENT
(Team Event But Not Necessary a Resident of Barangay)

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
1. Team Composition: The Team shall be composed of four(4) players including the Team Captain.

One Chess Master is allowed to participate. The required team average rating must not exceed 1950

based on November 2010 NCFP Standard Rating.
2. Team Members is not necessary a resident of Barangay but must ask a permission to use the name

of the Barangay from the respective Barangay Official or to the resident concern.
3. Tournament shall be played in Seven Rounds Swiss System and the rate of play is Twenty Five (25)

Minutes per player to finish the game.
4. Deadline of pre-registration is on May 20, 2011 5:00pm applying the discounted fees and on-site is

full payment.
5. Team Captain’s Meeting Schedule is on May 28, 2011 Saturday 9:00am .

Champion - P 10,000 plus elegant Trophy
2nd Place - P 6,000 plus elegant Trophy
3rd Place - P 4,000 plus elegant Trophy

Top Barangay Young Players - P3,000 plus elegant Trophy

Special Award Barangay Best in Uniform - P2,000 plus elegant Trophy

Top Board 1 - P1,000 plus elegant Trophy
Top Board 2 - P1,000 plus elegant Trophy
Top Board 3 -P1,000 plus elegant Trophy
Top Board 4 - P1,000 plus elegant Trophy

NOTE: All Barangay Team with Players will be given a Certificate of Participation and Appreciation.
