Chess tournament organizing

Organizing a chess tournament is indeed a challenging task, especially when it is your first time. From venue to tables and chairs to chess sets to chess clocks to physical preparation and so on, it's really not that easy.

I remember the first time I tried my hand on it. Would you believe that I was carrying a long table along a busy road under the rain during our physical preparations?

I know how Meralco Chess Club President Rolly Sol Cruz is feeling right now. But knowing MCC, they can always make it a good one. Good luck, Sir Rolly!

Here's an article about the first try of Sir Rolly in organizing a chess tournament:

THE 1st MMLDC Chess Cup for kiddies (14 years old and under) gets underway on September 6 at the MMLDC along Sumulong Hi-way, Antipolo.
