Didn't I tell you that the championship title in Ambank Chess Challenge, staged at the sideline of DATMO 2009 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia was in the bag for Filipinos with a round to spare?

The triumvirate of Samson Lim, Jr., Rodolfo Panopio, Jr., and Roel Abelgas stamped their class in Malaysia to have an emphatic finish of 1-2-3, respectively.

They all piled up 7.0 points but Lim emerged the overall champion due to superior tiebreak points.
