Roque rules 11th BCM

Congratulations to Merben Roque for ruling the recently concluded 11th Baguio Center Mall Non-Master Chess Championship.

Roque’s victory reminds the chess community once again of his renewed raw talent, especially since his Baguio conquest came after his emphatic fourth place finish in the 2nd Bernabe Cup in Parañaue only after GM Darwin Laylo, GM Mark Paragua, and GM Wesley So in a 300-player field.

Notably, being the No.1 ace of the Malibay Chess Club, he is conducting free chess clinics among its members.
