In this photo, World Chess Cup-bound GM Rogelio Antonio, Jr. is talking to the family of the Philippine PARA Chess Team players at the sideline of GM Eugene Torre's simul fund-raising exhibition in Meralco last September 5.
Even just by a glance, you could feel that there's already an aura of familiarity, or let me say closeness, between GM Antonio and the family of our handicapped players.
Just in case you still don't know, Antonio is the coach and trainer of the Philippine PARA Chess Team, which by the way produced six gold in the recent 2009 PARA Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Antonio dropped by Meralco to share with simul participants some goodies from Malaysia.
Jerson is among the lucky participants who received a "pasalubong."
