THE g4 Chess Club Semi-Standard Time Control Chess Championships for August edition gets underway on August 15 to 16 at the g4 Chess Club (behind old Aura College), 14th St.East Tapinac, Olongapo City.
Open to all players with standard rating of 2000 and below based in the latest July NCFP rating, the two-day tournament offers P2,000 plus Hi-tec Shoes for the champion, P1,000 for 2nd place, P700 for 3rd place, P500 for 4th and P200 for 5th to 6th placers.
Category prizes of P800 plus Hi-tec Shoes for top local player, P500 each for top senior, top college and top high school while P200 each for top elementary boys and girls.
There will be a raffle draw to the lucky participants who will join the tournament, a two (2) pairs of shoes awaits to the lucky winners. Student entry must show and bring their school ID.
Registration fee: P200 for Adult Players, P120 for College Student (for Olongapo players only), P80 for High School Student, (for Olongapo players only), P40 for Elementary Student.
