GM Gomez vs GM Le (Photo and game)

This photo showing the battle between GM John Paul Gomez and GM Le Quang Liem was sent in by Mr. Gilbert Pascua, the father of FM Haridas Pascua, right after Round 5 of the just concluded 1st HDBank Cup Open Chess Tournament. (Sorry for the late post.)

In the photo, GM JP seemed to be in a pensive mood right after pushing his 1.d4 move, an opening that proved fruitful in the end. He just made a 5/5 performance after this particular game after beating two higher-rated GM opponents.
