Our ladies - yes, the Filipinas - are being battered by visitors right here in our homeland.
Of the 10 tailenders after four rounds of play, five of them are our prized women combatants.
Too much of a hospitality.
This is not rubbing salt into a bleeding wound. Rather, this is a wake-up call to all of us who love Philippine chess.
It's the NCFP that says "Make the right move!"
A very strong statement, indeed. I just doubt as to whom they address that statement.

What would be the passing score of this ladies on this kind of tournament? All negativity will somehow affect their parents more. Masigasig lang din kasi ang mga magulang at team nila kaya sila nakakasali sa ganitong tournament. Ano nga po bang paki ng NCFP kung matalo sila? NCFP seems to care only for talented woodpushers kapag nasa taas na sila, pag harvest time na. Pero habang ganito pa lang hinahayaan muna nilang mga magulang mag shoulder lahat lahat. Kaya nga we are looking forward sa National Chess Academy programs, na itataguyod din ng NCFP.
