Somebody, who named himself as Mr. Ricky Navalta, phoned this blogger this morning and clarified that GM Eugene Torre was “not tapped to oversee the establishment of the National Chess Academy (NCA).”
According to him, Bro. Rolly Dizon and Mr. Bong Belen are the ones who are running the show.
And it is GM Bong Villamayor who has been tapped as the NCA National Training Director.
OK. Those are the data he dictated over the phone.
Notably, he requested that I, as a chess blog administrator, should moderate the comments of readers to get rid of profane words such as “putang ina.” Well, that’s a good comment.
As his parting words, he said that since the Philippines now has a national chess academy, they will now monitor chess blogs like this one to correct errors in reporting.
Well, good luck. I just hope that he really understood what he said.
Just a word of advice. NCA people should not adopt a censhorship-attitude to chess blogs. That’s dangerous, if you know what I mean.

I would like to address my message to Mr. Bersamina. I am filchess of Ctorrents. I'm sure you already know me as drron has told me.
Upon noticing your blog I took time to read some of the messages here and I can say that I am deeply depressed with what I have read about the contents about of the blogs and it seems that it is not well moderated. Foul words must not taken for granted as parents and children also read these blogs. This will be detrimental and also insulting. I hope such things can be stopped and we learn to respect others.
It is alright to post comments that we ourselves support and believe in but with enough sense and morality that should come with it.
For "Anonymous" please react like an educated person (if you are).

I don't believe money is or should be the main reason for your ignorance. Pres. Quezon was a poor chap when he was a kid but unlike you he did not blame it on his poverty, instead he made it as his battlecry and succeeded. He was known as one of the best orators (in English) and later the first president of the Philippine Commonweath.
And finally before you talk about helping people you should try to look first at yourself. I, for instance of whom you don't know have sent more than a dozen children through college with chess. I used my teaching skills to enter them in varsity teams that gave them scholarships and the help I rendered was for free.
So what have you done for your people to gain the priveledge to curse me?
Believe me, I know you.....I don't hide my identity and if you the balls maybe you shouldn't too.
