RP's Asian Indoor Selection Finals

The Philippine Asian Indoor selection finals is scheduled to start today (September 9) and to run until September 13 at Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) office in Balara, Quezon City.

The 10 grand finalists who made it through the eliminations are:
1. NM Haridas Pascua
2. NM Ali Branzuela
3. IM Rolando Nolte
4. FM Christopher Castellano
5. IM Barlo Nadera
6. IM Ronald Dableo
7. Emmanuel Senador (don't know if he's IM or NM)
8. Julius de Ramos
9. Rhobel Legaspi
10. Belsar Valencia

According to reports, they will join grandmasters (GMs) Rogelio Antonio Jr. John Paul Gomez, Mark Paragua, Darwin Laylo, Jayson Gonzales and Buenaventura "Bong" Villamayor in the grand finals. GM Wesley So and GM Eugene Torre did not participate.

The top finishers (not clear how many) in the grand finals will represent the country in the Asian Indoor Games to be held in Vietnam from October 30 to November 8.
