Paul Casiano, the young chess sensation from Bulacan, defended his Central Luzon Regional Athletic Association (CLRAA) elementary division crown with a 6.5/7 performance.
Another player finished with 6.5 points but Casiano won due to higher tiebreak.
This promising young chess talent will man Board 1 for Central Luzon in the fast approaching Palarong Pambansa on April 27.
