Victory Central Mall National Open Grouping Chess Championships

The National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP) announced changes in the format of the Victory Central Mall National Open Grouping Chess Championships which will be held from July 2 to July 8 at the 4th floor of the Victory Central Mall in Caloocan City.

Instead of having three categories, Group A and B have been merged into an Open category with no rating requirements. (The official website of the NCFP did not provide enough details about the composition of teams.)

As a result, the prizes were combined as follows:
