Today (May 2), two rounds (Round 6 and Round 7) will be played. Yes, our young chess heroes need extra strength to finish two rounds of standard chess in a day from April 30 till tomorrow.
Isn't this set up too punishing for our kids? I don't know. Only the kids can tell.
In a situation like this, proper nutrition and comfortable rest is a must for our talented young chess warriors, especially those who come from distant places unaccompanied by their parents.
Most of them are still kids who really need parental comfort, period.
